Caistor Hall was a former Grand Manor country residence and still retains an air of sophisticated country living.
The rooms available for hire, whether for a celebration event for family and friends or an important work function, are elegant, with high ceilings ornately decorated, large sash windows overlooking lovely gardens, wooden panelling and an open fire. We regularly hire this room for Christenings and large wakes.
The room is also perfect for a large party wanting to sit down for a formal meal, maybe a 40th or 50th-anniversary celebration, or a charity function, an annual club outing or a dining-club.
Alternatively, if you want a similar function, just smaller, the ballroom divides into two, so you can just hire one-half. The ballroom has easy access to the bar and direct access to the gardens and library.
The Ballroom is perfect for corporate conferences, staff training and staff away days.
The Coach House
The Coach House is a bit of a hidden gem. Some people have visited the hotel for years and not realised that it’s there! Accessed from Palm Court, you enter a fantastic function space. With a 250 capacity, it is perfect for ‘special’ birthdays, surprise parties, anniversary celebrations, retirement dos, weddings and prom parties.
The Coach House has its own bar and lounge/seating area and space for a buffet table. It has a good-sized dance floor with a DJ booth, built in sound and light system and extendable opening hours until 2 am. There’s even a stage door so you can bring your own band.
There’s a courtyard too, which is perfect for BBQs and Hog Roasts.

Garden Room and Other Meeting Rooms
Our Garden Room is a great space for functions, private dining or corporate occasions. It’s a large, light room with high ceilings and large windows that provide plentiful natural light and it has direct access to the gardens. It’s also perfect for smaller functions such as an extended family gathering, Christenings or wakes.
The Garden Room and our other meeting rooms are ideal for conferences, away days, appraisals and staff meetings. The garden room itself can be set up in boardroom style for conferences, or theatre style for presentations and talks. It can seat 22 boardroom-style and 50 theatre-style. We have other similar rooms available, including the Snug (see images below).
In its day to day setting, it’s perfect for meeting people over coffee, 1:1 or mini-meetings and breakout events from conferences.
However, we have also moved the furniture and used this space for exhibitions, networking events and weddings, so it is very versatile.
We couldn’t go without mentioning the marquee in the grounds of the hotel, with its own access from the car park, but shielded by trees to retain a sense of privacy – plus the great view. The marquee can be used from April to September.
